Students Learn from Help Desk Premier
Miller College Students Learn With Help Desk Premier
In early 2013, Help Desk Premier was offered at no cost to educational institutions. ?While many schools took advantage of the offer to utilize the software in their IT department for help desk support, some schools wanted to their students to learn by using the help desk software themselves.
Miller College in Miller, Australia, a vocational college that is part of the NSW Government Education & Communities in Sydney Australia, acquired a license to Help Desk Premier for their students to run a simulated service desk. ?The students gained skills and experience that will help them secure jobs in the IT field upon graduation.
John Dixon, the IT Teacher running the classes that utilized Help Desk Premier, said “The students have really found Help Desk Premier to be a user-friendly system and it has been invaluable in teaching students what it is like to work on a Service Desk/Desktop Support team. ?It has been a huge improvement over the software that I used last year to the point that last semesters group is a little jealous of it?.
Miller College was kind enough to send BrightBox Solutions a certificate of Appreciation as well as photos of the students using Help Desk Premier in class.
We are happy share some of the photos that Miller College shared with us of their students learning with Help Desk Premier:
